1. Preparation<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.1 Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please make sure your Boxchip S700A<\/a> has enough battery capacity at first.
\n1 piece of Type-C USB cable and a computer with Windows 7 or above is necessary. The .Net Framework version should be not lower than 4.0.
\nInstall the\u00a0BPS installation package<\/a> to anywhere you want.<\/p>\n

1.2 Enable USB Debugging<\/strong><\/p>\n

We need enable USB Debugging in your device due to BPS read and write customization files via USB. We can enable it follow these steps:
\na) Power on device;
\nb) Select \u201cSettings->About Phone\u201d;
\nc) Click \u201cBuilder number\u201d 3 times quickly and you will see a tip;
\nd) Go back \u201cSettings\u201d, there is a \u201cDeveloper options\u201d menu item above \u201cAbout phone\u201d;
\ne) Select \u201cDeveloper options\u201d and turn \u201cOn\u201d it;
\nf) Pull down till \u201cUSB Debugging\u201d and enable it;
\ng) Connect device with computer by Type-C USB cable. You may see a fingerprint confirm for first time, check and agree it.<\/p>\n

1.3 Clear Old Version Customization<\/strong><\/p>\n

Open device from \u201cMy Computer\u201d in desktop, CUT the old version customization files if there are \u2013 the old version customization files should be in path \u201cS700A\\Internal Storage\\CONTACTLIST.xls\u201d and \u201cS700A\\Internal Storage\\ PTT_CHANNEL_LIST_DATA.xls\u201d, you can store these 2 files to computer disk.<\/p>\n

1.4 Install New Version APK<\/p>\n

Copy \u201cDMR_V014_sign.apk\u201d to \u201cS700A\\Internal Storage\\\u201d and install it, then we can program device.<\/p>\n

2. Programming<\/strong><\/p>\n

2.1 Select A Device<\/strong><\/p>\n

Generally, BPS will detect and select a device automatically when you opening as below screenshot. But please be noted that BPS doesn\u2019t support multi-devices now.<\/p>\n

Solution for BPS doesn\u2019t detect a device, you maybe not need try every step:
\na) Make sure \u201cUSB Debugging\u201d is enabled;
\nb) Plug-pull USB cable several time;
\nc) Restart your device;
\nd) Restart your computer;
\ne) Install \u201cadbdriver.zip\u201d in your computer;
\nf) Finally copy \u201cadb_usb.ini\u201d to \u201cC:\\Users\\Your Name\\.android\\\u201d.<\/p>\n

2.2 Read Customization<\/strong><\/p>\n

Click the green button to read customization from device, you will see \u201cModel Number\u201d and \u201cSerial Number\u201d is filled as below.
\nFor first time you may get a read error due to there is no new customization in device, try write it then<\/p>\n

read will be OK.<\/p>\n

2.3 Write Customization<\/strong><\/p>\n

Customize all of parameters, then click the red button to write customization into your device.<\/p>\n
